JOB BUS CANADA LAUNCHES JOB POSTING SERVICE ON SUB-SITE

OTTAWA (June 7, 1999) - Canadian online employment site Job Bus Canada announced today it has added job postings to the site it has recently acquired, Canadajobs.com.

"The Canadajobs.com site has always had a good reputation with employers and job seekers in Canada. We had many employers asking for the service, and decided to offer the feature to them," said Site Administrator Sara Parent.

The Canadajobs.com site, which until now focused mainly on listing resources, now also offers job postings to employers for a fee.

All areas of employment are covered, from Aerospace, High Tech, to Tourism.

The Job Bus Canada is aiming to be a one-stop service for job seekers in Canada.

"We are working towards a portal-type service, including categorized job search resources and lists of employers, job postings, and industry-specific job sites," said Site Manager Luc Theriault.

"We wanted to differentiate the content of Job Bus Canada from Canadajobs.com," said Theriault.

"This new direction for Canadajobs.com helps each of our sites stand out from the rest, and lets us serve clients much better," added Parent.

Both sites are run by Farfan, a Canadian Internet media firm which specializes in the Canadian employment market.

"We realized that just about everyone we knew, whether employed or not, was looking for a job. We also realized that the existing resources were sometimes limited. We decided to fill that void and we've been right on target ever since," said Theriault.

The Job Bus crew has also recently launched a staffing site geared to the Canadian call centre industry, CallCareers.com Canada (http://www.CallCareers.com/).

The Job Bus Canada is available at http://www.JobBus.com/ and Canadajobs.com is available at http://www.canadajobs.com/ anytime day or night.
